Winter skin saviour: Caudalie Vinosource S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum

To start, I would just like to give myself a pat on the back for finally, shamefully, investing in a moisturising product that I actually use regularly. Oh yes, this is not another £4 product from Superdrug that breaks me out and gets let at the back of the shelf, this is the real deal. I had heard great things about this serum, but put off getting it for 2 reasons- the price and the possibility of the mother of all break outs. However, I was able to find it for a steal on eBay (sounds dodgy but I know but it is from a reliable source) at £19.99. So I managed to save myself a nearly whole £10 and that was enough to justify it to me! Also, there have been no break outs and I have been using it for over 3 months now, I have officially been won over. Oh and obviously it moisturises really well too. I usually use it once a day at night time, and it feels very soothing on the skin after a cold day. It sinks into the skin quickly, which is great as no one likes an oil slick face to sleep on!

The packaging is just what you expect from Caudalie, sleek and glass. A good amount of product as well, I have barely used a third, and I have been using it once or occasionally twice a day since I got it!

It has quite a watery consistency and a little product goes a long way- I always overshoot the amount of this that I need! The smell is nice and fresh, quite distinctive but not unpleasant by a long way. This serum does feel a tad sticky when you first apply it but it soon sinks into the skin.
